I'm Canadian working in the US on a TN visa, can i leave the country on holiday and return to work in the US?

I have a 2 week vacation planned to the middle east, am concerned that I may not be able to come back into the country on my TN Visa when i return or may be asked to leave my TN visa behind when I leave for vacation. I am half way through my contract here and need to return to complete my job assignment here. My Visa does not expire until 2009.

I dont see any reason why would u be asked to leave ur TN Status? In my opinion your holidays shouldn't effect ur status in USA.

Nevertheless if u are in doubt please contact USCIS, and get their view on it.
