I'm Christian...And Thinking About s*x!!

yo, my name is mary, and I'm Christian. Lately, I've been doing some stupid stuff...no nothing physical...but well...cybering. Look, I asked God for forgiveness, my mom knows and she is trying to help me...but...I still have this urge to read stuff I know I shouldn't read. Any advice???? Please????

If you are that bothered by this, then by all means delete your im accounts.  Delete everything, including this Y!A account if you feel that it is going to lead you to cybering again.  Taking some time away from the computer will help you.

But don't worry...there are plenty of other Christians out there who do a lot worse than you and don't feel bad about it at all.  So props to you.

Are you a teenager? If so it's your hormones. Yes. I have dreams about s*x. I never see the guys face... It's blured out but... It's a hormone thing if your a teenager.

it's awesome that your mom knows, keep accountable to her! also, i think your best bet is to get involved in a hobby, reading, an instrument, or whatever keeps you busy. and most importantly, keep asking God to deliver you from those thoughts. He is faithful to answer your prayers.

C some times I do ask my self this question "why is it a big deal with my religion?" well I still don't know well but if this is counted as a sin then somthings not right.

I'm 15, and a believer in Yeshua (Jesus) as the Messiah.

I understand totally what you are going through. Even last night, I was dreaming about s*x, but listen to me, you can, and WILL conquer this with the might of G-d.

Yeshua said that if something is causing us to sin, even if it is something like our own body, it is better for us to cut it off as opposed to live with the sin and the impending doom. The computer seems to be the root of your sin. Cybering is a sin, and so is going on those s*x stories sites (like literotica? Yeah, I've battled this battle before. It took me YEARS to overcome, but I did it.)

First, we need to understand why all these lustful things are sinful. This is because when we have s*x, it is more a spiritual thing. When we have s*x with someone, it is the meshing of our spirit with those. With masterbation and lustful thoughts, we are meshing our spirits with ourselves. It is self gratification. Sure, it feels good on our bodies for that twenty or fifteen minutes, but afterwards, when all the sensation is gone, it is an empty act. The spirit is captive and weakened by the flesh.

Now, I know personally that I can list fifty thousand reasons on here why masturbation and p**n/cybering is wrong, but it's going to mean nothing to you if the Holy Spirit inside of you doesn't convict you of your sins. Trust me, I read online how wrong it is to m********e online, and I stopped.  It lasted a week. You yourself need to pray, fast, and convict yourself of the sins. This, for me, took me two years, but no matter how many times you fall down, you need to get back up and try again. Everytime you sin, it's like you, PERSONALLY, are crucifying Yeshua (Jesus) on the cross. YOU ARE giving him the sip of bitter wine. YOU ARE putting the crown of thorns on his head. So, repent from your lustful desires.

The way I stopped from going online to look up crappiness, (and let's admit it, we know all those stories are written by fat nerds.) Everytime I feel the urge to go on one of those sites or m********e, I would open up the Torah, this is all the Laws of Moses. It would distract me. The same may work for you. If you feel the temptation, you need to channel your energy somewhere else. This is your Yetzer Hara. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yetzer_hara... You need to learn how to conquer and destroy it. It will be with you for the rest of your life. It's not going to go away when you get married either, learn to control it, and you will have the path of salvation.
