I'm getting my hair dyed professionally in a few more weeks. I want to know if I dye my hair will it kill my hair or damage it badly? I have heard many people having nasty hair after dyeing it so i'm not very sure if I should but I really want to. I have also heard if you get it done professionally then it wont damage or kill it. Please help?

  1. it only really damages it if you bleach it i dont think it will damage it that bad as long as you take care or it

  2. No but your real hair with grow back in and you'll have ugly roots.

  3. Well, if this is your first time dying your hair then I'm pretty much sure that it won't cause a lot of damage.

  4. don't do it...I did it once and I talked to a bunch of young women who did, it just makes you look old...and if your a while woman, it will make you look even whitter in the face, almost pale. I don't think its a great idea. But hey if you want to try out everything in life then go ahead. i wish you the best of luck though.

and hair looks nasty after every color not just black.

  5. I wouldn't go black. It doesn't matter if it is professional or a home-job, it looks like you slapped paint on your head.

Every time you dye your hair, it will be damaged. This is added to if you use any kind of styling wand.

  6. If you're just dying it, then it shouldn't be too damaged, and if you go to a professional, it probably won't be damaged at all, because they'll know how to dye your hair safely.

  7. The are many factor here... first is what is your hair history have been doing a lot of color services prior to this one??? sounds like you haven't... the result will be great... where people get into trouble in when in a month they decide they want to go back to their natural color or to the other extreme being... go blond... anyway it is best to decide on something and stick with it for a while... one more thing when you say black you are going to get vampire black... a lot f the hairs I have used and I have used a bunch... when someone asks for black... I always use the darkest brown... believe me it will be dark enough... so ask for consider asking for the darkest brown... and good luck with it:-))).

  8. umm al depends on what product. ask your hairdresser :) i to have hear things, like hair snapping off after dying and frizzy tangles but they only accure with $5 cheapy products and you have to re dying it and that is why this accures. hope that helped
