Decided not to replace my Dodge Dakota with new Ford Ranger last year due to rise in fuel expense so presently

commute using glossy black DR650SEK8.

  4. @ Richard: I know of many honda's that get in the 50's range. Light weight + strong enough motor + as least wind resistence as possible = MPG's.

  5. 60 mpg and half a quart of oil, driven hard. 2003 Buell Blast. Also survives crashes well.

  6. 58 mpg 2005 nissan almera 2.2 diesel...crusing at 70 on motorway ...now thats fuel economy.

  7. If it wasn't for the 4 to 7 months of winter we get here, I'd definitely be riding a motorbike to and from work everyday.

    But my 1988.5 Ford EXP gets 44mpg, and I'm happy with that.

    DART bus -  30 passengers average, 3.78 mpg per vehicle, 113.4 person miles per gallon.
