  1. Just make sure its cage is clean, has fresh water and seed, and toys. The tend to like mirrors. If your parents will let you get two. they like a companion.

  2. ok first keep its cage clean and bake any perches you have for 2-4 mins on 350 it will kill any germs found on them but wait for it took cool off befor u pop it back it to clean ur bird mist it use newspape as a bdding is cheap and u can see here p**p to tell if there sick or not if u want the bird to lov you and becoem super attached get 1 bird and play mucis so it doesnt get lonly if u want it to not te so attached then you go and get 2 clean its cage every other day change the water every day and make sre it food is always fresh if u put "people" food in it change the food 4 hours after so that way there no bakterial if the "people" food rots never feed it avadicados caffine achol or anythign carbanated or canalope it poisionus also no salty foods gets vitiman supluments for the food liek bird dust or somethign then o and mist the bird IN THE MORNING ONLY every other day to keep it clean and when nigth comesit will b dry and rdy to go to sleep

  3. -Read as much info as you can about budgie (also called parrakeets) before buying.

-Buy from a local breeder if posable.  Do not buy from PetSmart/PetCo. they are not as healthy.

-Feed it pellets, fruits and veggies- save seed for treats only!

-Change its water, food, and cage liner dayly

-Do buy a hand fed baby bird, they are much sweeter

-Don't let the other pets get your new bird!

Good Luck! Bird are loads of fun if they are trained to be well behaved.  Read Read Read everything you can!
