Yes...i have dial-up for a very long time and i was thinking of getting a broadband router like this one:

1.Well I have AOL and do I have to contact them to tell them that im changing to broadband or is there a way to do it yourself.

3.Do it matter if i have a windows vista laptop and theres another computer runnin win.XP?

4....since the XP computer is old I can still use the router on 1 laptop?

    You will need to pay AOL (or another ISP) for broadband access. So...

    4. Yes, provided the laptops/computers have a wireless card (most computers don't).
