I'm Getting A Router And I Need Help?

Yes...i have dial-up for a very long time and i was thinking of getting a broadband router like this one:

1.Well I have AOL and do I have to contact them to tell them that im changing to broadband or is there a way to do it yourself.

3.Do it matter if i have a windows vista laptop and theres another computer runnin win.XP?

1. You need to change to a broadband package. You can't just plug in a router and get broadband speeds.

You will need to pay AOL (or another ISP) for broadband access. So...

2. There will be easy to follow directions that come with it

4. Yes, provided the laptops/computers have a wireless card (most computers don't).
