  1. soy beans. packed full 'o protein =)

  2. iron supplements, tofu, lentels, salad, lots of fruit, foods with protein and vitamins

    good luck

  3. more or less equal amounts of ,fresh tomatoes, green peppers ,(capsicums) and onions ,slice about 1 centimeter thickness cook in a little cold press olive oil till all is tender ,add herbs /spices if you wish ,serve with mashed potatoes ,or  garlik bread .voila!!! a lovely ,tasty filling meal .

ps the consistency of the sauce should be fairly thick ,add water or veg.stock if to dry .more tomatoes will make it more saucy .

  4. Soy milk, tofu, cashews, sunflower seeds, almonds, lentils, beans, fruit juices and soy products are all great for you. I'm Aussie to, use nutellex instead of butter, you won't even notice the difference. You can eat hubba bubba, tastes so good, some gum uses some horrible things. Lots of hard lollies will be okay to eat, all soft lollies I've seen contain geltain (animal skeleton, intestines and bad stuff) so be careful. Vegi chips are good and suitable for vegans =). If you use Google or what ever there is tons of info about it.

P.S. you can eat stuff like french fries, I think pasta zoo from Mcdonalds is okay to, you can still have peanut butter and vegimite.

Good luck with your change and hopefully I helped you a little. It gets easyer over time.

  5. Hey.

    Good for you!

You can eat so much as a vegan, there's so much choice. Finding vegan food is easier than it's ever been. You can now buy vegan cheese, vegan chocolate, vegan ice-cream, vegan mayonnaise, vegan sausages, vegan yoghurt, vegan haggis...the choices are endless.

I found the Australia vegetarian and vegan society! - http://www.vegsoc.org.au/ -  The Vegetarian and Vegan Society of Queensland website! While you are there check out their great selections of recipes, their friendly and informative forum, their supermarket shopping guide, and their society events at the best vegetarian restaurants around Brisbane and the Gold Coast. They give away many thousands of free information packs and brochures every year. If you want to support them then you can join the society here - http://vegsoc.org.au/membership.asp

As a vegan, there are still many recipes, foods to try vegans enjoy all kinds of plant foods - like fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts, seeds, legumes (beans, lentils and split peas) - and fungi (mushrooms, yeasts), and food made from these.

  6. Well it really depends are you going full vegan or part vegan ie. can you eat cheese and yogurt.

If you can try this dish i once made... Cauliflower and leek in chessy white sauce.

  7. The best vegan meal I had was a Tortilla Soup (had lots of mexi spices, beans corn, onions, tomatoes, etc, and a little vegan sour cream and tortilla chips on top, and for dessert, 'macaroons' made from just coconut and agave nectar formed into little balls. SOOO good. I could eat like that every day!

  8. hey well i'm russian and fast 4 about 2/3's of the year so i suggest fish,soda,homemade cake,potato chips,french fries,fruit.

sometimes you can go online like me

    hope this helps susie Q

  9. Open your mouth and look at your teeth.

I can not recommend any "VAGAN" diet as evolution has yet to include taste buds that change the taste of c**p to meat. Or a stomach and intestine that is more efficient  with meat taken out of the diet. Cut back,  do not give it up for the sake of your future children.

  10. SoyJoy and oskiri bars

    Vegemite

    trail mix

    egg beaters on toast

    jalapeno and veggie shreds poppers

hot artichoke and spinach salad with homemade croutons
