So We have picked her name but I wanted to know what you thought of when you hear it.

Also Know we wanted her name to mean something strong but still be a bit feminine.

Honor Emery Claire

Honor means High respect

Emery means leader

Claire means illustrious

Her big Brothers Name Is Merrick

He is 2 and he picked Honor!

What about Emery Honor Claire?  Honor is what Jessica Alba just named her daughter, and that was the first thing taht came to mind.  Or Claire Honor Emery?  I Love the name Emery though(it can be short for Emerson, which I also like).  If you name her Emery Honor Claire, Merrick still gets to be included.  Honor is a great name, if you're a celebrity's child and you will grow up free of ridicule, because your mom is Jessica Alba.  I would mix it up.  Congrats on your little girl, whatever you name her!!

Congrats on your baby. I think of Jessica Alba when I hear it. I don't personally care for it but it's your baby and he fact that a sibling picked it makes it special.

I love the names. They are wonderful names. And like she said she doesn't know jessica alba and she didn't ask for a name suggestion, she likes the name she has. She is sharing. But everyone else is right. They are beautiful names and go well together.

That's interesting that he picked Honor.  When I was 2 and my mom was pregnant with my little sister, she asked me what I thought we should name her.  I suggested "Baby Honor Baby."  I wonder where we both came up with Honor.  It seems like a concept beyond the understanding of a 2-year-old.

That being said, I love both Honor and Claire.  Emery is okay, and I do think it provides a good bridge between Honor and Claire, since both those names end in R.  It doesn't strike me as very feminine, but Honor and Claire provide enough femininity for the name.  Amelia comes from the same root as Emery.  You might consider Honor Amelia Claire as an alternative.  I actually prefer simply Honor Amelia; it's often difficult to get two middle names to flow well.

Sounds like a celebrity wannabe name. Whether you like it or not this is what people will think. If you can live with that, then go for it. It's a little cheesy in my opinion, but to each their own.
