I'm Hungry in NYC? Any good places?

I'm staying at the POD in NYC on 51st street between 2nd and 3rd ave. I'm hungry and I was wondering what some good cheap eating places were and where they are at. Thanks.

if you enjoy fresh live music, the Red Lion down on Bleeker St and Thompson is worth a try.  But if you are just wanting a quick and really inexpensive bite, try Mahmoun's Falafel on Macdougal.

my favorite restaurant in new york city is 69 Bayard in china town then i walk over to Ferrara's in little italy for dessert that is the first thing i do whenever i go there
