  1. dont come to england mate they all speak east european here!;-)

  2. ok first dublin is expensive 2nd im from the north of ireland and have living away for 20 year and now have been back for four and there is no way you will learn any english here as they dont speak it it all slang and you would only pick up there slang so if you go to england noone will understand you .

your best bet is to go to england and sign on with a few agencies for work . good luck

  3. Dublin is a great place to learn English, as is Galway - there are places in the country where the accent is hard to understand but you cant tell me that's not true of England?!? What about cockney? http://www.krysstal.com/cockney.html

    For a job try:

    Hertz:  https://www.hertz.ie/rentacar/abouthertz...

    or Google: http://www.google.ie/intl/en/jobs/

    or look on www.jobs.ie   and

    www.irishjobs.ie

I know from experience Hertz have a house where employees from other countries can stay for a period of time (i think its 4weeks max) while looking for accomodation.  This is probably true of many of the big european companies so why not ask when you're applying!  Good luck!

  4. You won't find cheap accommodation in Dublin, and anyway, it's not the best city. Try Limerick, Cork, Kilkenny, Dublin or Galway.

  5. Go somewhere where the accent isn't too strong so it won't be difficult for you to understand. Galway probably wouldn't be too bad

  6. If you want to learn english, go to southern england. You will struggle with the Irish accent.

  7. well, if you want to learn english and be able to be understood, dublin is not the best place.  try someplace like london.  USA is expensive but if you learn to speak english here you will have an accent that is more understandable.

i used to work with a girl from ireland, and i couldn't understand a word she said, her accent was so odd.

try www.craigslist.com, there are a lot of job postings as well as housing for every country

    buona fortuna!

  8. Make preparation before you come. Nothing in Ireland is cheap. Accommodation is very expensive, a rental one bed house can cost anything from €1000 up a month and that would be lower scale. As for a job?

There is a huge influx of immigrants in Dublin at the moment all looking for employment. You will find it difficult.

Do your homework first and have plenty of money with you.

  9. You want to go to ireland to learn english...ha ha ha ha ha ha....
