  1. since how you havnt really stated your intentions for the gun i guess i can probably say a .243, .308, or a .270

  2. 17 hmr is a good gun. It has power to knock down boar and isnt much bigger than a .22 and a cheap gun. here is a little review on it.

  3. What are you going to do with the gun?

If it is for hunting then it should be the appropriate size for the game you are hunting.

Are  you looking for a hunting rifle, or a hand gun for protection?

Regardless don't get something cheap, get something reliable that will not cause problems or injuries.

  4. Don't buy a 'cheap' gun but if your just shooting a bunch of rounds then look for a gun that shoots cheap ammo, a big rifle will cost more in ammunition so if you want ( need ) more power than a .22 maybe look at some .223 rifles (more powerful than a .22 ). But don't just buy the cheapest one you can find balance cost and performance.

  5. a Hi-Point 9MM carbine.... I have 2 of these... They are cheap, use a 9MM pistol ammunition which is cheap, are fun to use and surprisingly accurate!.... Pay absolutely no attention to anyone that tells you this gun is junk or unreliable... Mine have been trouble free and a pleasure to shoot.... Yes they are a bit ghetto looking but they fit exactly what you asking.....

  6. Lever action chambered for a revolver round?  Pistol carbine?

What exactly do you want to do with it?
