Ok, Im moving to brisbane from perth in june, and i was wondering if i could get any tips from people who have maybe done the same?

The house is beautiful, 3 bedroom queenslander in Bellbird Park (the nice part) we're surrounded by trees & no-one can take our fantastic view away =D (can't develop there, its a swamp haha & we have a verandah that looks over the house in front so we cant see it [woo])

I'm also thinking of working at the springfield lakes shopping centre, cos its close.

So whats the public transport n stuff there like??

& jobs, is there anything i should know etc. I might end up not having to work anyway :P lol

Any help would be fantastic =D

And don't dis the area - its beautiful and we're NOT too close to the swamp so mosquitos i dont care about. any ADVICE would be good, not 'dissapproving' comments!

Thanks :)

  1. Hi,

Why not call the local shire? They will have all sorts of information for you.

Call the library, schools, bus company, shopping centre management.

Tourist information, the real estate who rented or sold the house to you would be a good place to start.

Good luck and have a lovely life in your new home.

  2. The public transport out there is pretty terrible and it's quite a long way from town so you will probably need a car. Depending on your experience, there should be plenty of jobs around though.
