I'm Planing on being a Environmentalist. What do I need to study?

I want to be an environmentalist in Canada but does anybody know what i would need to study besides getting a minor in writing for all the communication involved in the work. Also does anybody know any university's that i could go to for the studies beside university of toronto?

I think that you should focus on studying your life science since environmentalism has to do with the conservation and improvement of the natural environment. In general, i think you should try your hardest in studying Science but that doesn't mean that the other subjects don't matter. You should try your best in all of your subjects for school but work extra extra hard on Science. Sorry but i don't know much about what university you should go to but you could try searching it on the web. Good Luck with your studies and i hope you reach your goal...even thought i don't know you.

Go really heavy on the science, and math. If you get a ton of data but don't know how to make sense of it you will be no better than Al Gore.

Environmental science and also look at public admin courses like non-profit organiz...etc
