Do any of you ever stay in Poland?

You won't find it so easy in the USA.  They don't just let anyone in who wants to get rich quick (unlike our useless traitorous government who has destroyed the hopes and lives of millions of low paid British people by doing so . . . )

Well even allies need visas. It's really the government of our countries who are allies, not really the people. Ignore the comments about you being Polish, it's just some people are really stupid and ignorant.

Visas are needed so that the American government can check you out and see if your safe to be let into the United States.

example: if a convicted killer applied for a Visa, hes not going to get it.

It's basically a security check and every country has it's own laws as to who requires a visa or not. Even we English have to have visas to visit certain countries, so none of us are exempt

We need VISA'a to travel to the UK also...and we are Allies too. IT is for National Security, Polish ppl can have one and are not exempt from silly laws most of us follow blindly.

Why do we yanks have to show and sometimes leave our passport when checking into a hotel,Why do the police come by the hotels to check on who is staying there? Why do you have to report to the police when you move?

yes we are and since your president has refused to ratify the maastricht/lisbon(fudged)treaty the polish are also eire,s and my best friends,,this treaty is now dead in the water ,,thanks,,,

visas allow you a certain length of time in any country,differs for whatever purpose you are going there for,,ie as a student or just a holiday maker

I wish that we had the same protective rights in the UK that the USA gives its own citizens against illegal visitors. Although Poland is now a free country with its democratically elected government, that's only happened in the last few decades. Previously it had an enforced regime under the communist USSR, and I expect that a few of your countrymen supported that harsh regime. They would not be welcome in any country holding democratic principles, so checks by way of entry visas are necessary.

Communism has an insidious way of infiltrating democracy.

Yes. Although we are allies with Poland, we still need to make sure that you are safe to enter the country. Its just about safety...

It's not that we don't trust Polish people, but not everyone is nice you know...
