The hubby got one past the goal keeper so now I'm deciding names. Give me your gab on my favies.

Girls:

Princess

Neveah

Miracle

Boys:

Rebel

King

Racer

I've certainly never heard any of these names before... they are very unusual!!

But you might want to tone down the names a little - not so much that they are common, but still a little unusual - but it's your child - so it's your choice!

My question to you:  Have you thought about how any of these names will look on a resume?  Are these names you can expect an employer or a top university to take seriously?  

Your children will grow up... and it's your job to give them a name that will give them as much opportunity as possible in this very discriminating world.  Please, rethink these names.  

A Piper, Paloma, or Peyton will have more opportunity than a Princess.  A Reginald, Robert, or Remington will have more opportunity than a Rebel.

Sailor is the only name on your list that I can truly see a grown up using.  PLEASE don't name your baby girl any of the other names, they are all okay for babies, but babies grow up.  Neveah is ultra-popular and has no meaning besides Heaven spelled backwards.  Please keep looking and keep an open mind and you will find much better choices, I promise.  Some you might like: Bailey, Lola, Vanessa, Arielle, Piper, Lacey, and Reese.

As far as the boys names, here are some others to consider that you may like that are similar in style, but actual names:

Ace, Kingston, Rally, Roman, Archer, Chase, Hunter, Jett, and Maverick.

I hope this helps.   Remember, your child will be an adult someday.  Give them a name that will hold up no matter how old they are.

thy're all cute names for babies but not for adults.  Names are really important.  Can you imagine a supreme court justice named Rebel or princess? How about Dr Miracle whateveryourlastnameis.  People judge first names and opportunities are decided on based on your name before they even meet your child.  Sorry to be a downer.

Princess is the nicest girls name on your list and 'm sorry but I don't like any of the boys names but if I had to choose one it would be King.

Sailor - is that the person that conceived it with you

Miracle - big miracle if they don't get bullied in the playground

I really like all the girls names except Neveah (it sounds like agriculture fields in my language so i might be partial)

I would choose Sailor.

I do not like boys name. The first one has a bad omen and I don't care much for kings and racers.

The best advice I have is take a look at your child when it is borne and see which name really fits.

in order from fave to least-  

1. sailor - sounds like a celeb baby name. not crazy about any of your names, this is by far the best tho.

2. neveah - if you are trying to spell heaven backwards, it's nevaeh. also, its hard to pronounce & spell.

miracle & princess - you are kidding right?? if you name one of your kids these, they will be teased, and teased, and teased, and teased !!!! especially with the name Princess ! obviously you don't know school kids, but i do. DO NOT NAME YOUR KID THESE.

boys: uh... no comment. again, the teasing. instead of king try kingston.
