I'm Trying To Become A Nicer Person But I Need Your Help?

I'm into guitar, reading, singing, writing and such. These days its referred to as the "nerdy" stuff. My so called use to be "friends" or "popular kids" laugh at me for doing this stuff. They're all into hockey players and such. I want to be nice but how can I be nice to people who call me names? I've tried not saying anything after they call me names and it gets awkward how can I be nice?

Forget about trying to be nice, especially to people who won't appreciate it!

You'll find others who have the same interests as you as you explore those things you have passion for. You'll find you're naturally nice to them. Nothing else matters.

Just be you.  Guitar players are always a favorite with the girls, especially if you sing well.  Writing shows a creative appreciation for some of the beautiful things in life and allows a creative outlet which brings a sense of peace and balance.  Reading...Probably one of things that will carry you the farthest.  Nothing like funny quotes/ serious quotes, or quotes for the right thing to say at an auspicious or an  inauspicious occasion.  Also the purpose of the story can bring some personal inner philosophies.  You're a winner in my corner.
