I'm Worried... Please answer! ?

It's two days before my birthday party, which is scheduled for 2:00 pm on Saturday, and Only 3 people of the 6 I invited reserved.

Is this just me worrying, and when is the proper time to RSVP? (I invited them last Wednesday!)

I know there might be stragglers, but I doubt my friends would do that because they know better.

  1. Phone them or text them, ask them are they still able to make it to your party on Saturday.

  2. make party at morning or evening

  3. So ask the others if they are coming

  4. Give them a call and tell them you need to know if they're coming so that you can make enough preparation and stuff (if you're the host, act like the host) One week is enough for them to make up their minds if they're coming or not. In fact, it's perfect, in my opinion. Cos if you were to invite them earlier, they would've forgotten about it.

  5. You can party with 3 friends just as well as with 6. Stop worrying. For some reason people have forgotten their manners and seem to ignore RSVPs on a regular basis. You might go ahead and plan for 6 because more than likely at least 1 or 2 that didn't respond will show up anyway. Have a happy birthday and don't stress yourself out over the non-responders.

  6. really too bad for you....

  7. If they're friends your very close to they might just assume you know they're going, as RSVPing is a bit formal, especially with only 6 people going. If your in the same situation come friday night then that is the time to worry.

  8. It is always generous to assume that 2/3rds of you RSVPs will respond positively.

  9. If it's really bugging you, call the ones who haven't confirmed and ask them if they will be able to make your party.  Some people don't RSVP no matter what you do.
