I'm a 140 pound linebacker and destroyed school records, what makes me so good?

Iam asking this because i am 15 about 5'9'' and 140 pounds bench max 175 and play linebacker for my schools JV team. I destoryed the sack record this year and interception record for JV. Our school is in a 6A division. Iam always told I am small for the position but how am I doing so well? We arent a bad school or anything because we have mad the playoffs numerous times.

wow 6 seconds!!! thats horrible. stop bragging about yourself, when i was 14 last year as a freshmen i was on varsity and started a few games at the best position in football, QB!

Ok so you broke some records for JV...congrats. You run a 6 second 40 time...no congrats. Try Varsity and if youre so good once H.S is over get a scholorship to play in college. Then you can call yourself so good. Keep your head small man, it will get you much further in life.

Number one who said your good? Your playing JV. do that against VARSITY competition you will then be good. your ego is going to kill you because youd rather be the best in JV then go out and work your butt off to try and get on Varsity. wake up man JV is nothing but a bunch of varsity bench warmers. whens the last time some one got a division 1 offer from having a great jv career.

Don't keep track of stats. Just bust your butt everyday.

If you start watching stats you will lose focus on what you are trying to do.

its no other than your amazing INSTINCS you are small do not bench much and run a 6 40. thats slow you must hit low and wrap up the ball really good

I'm not trying to diminish your ability, but it could be that you played in a weak conference or that your team played a weak schedule. Some players have tremendous single season stats because they play soft teams on their schedule, yet when they play a really good team they don't do near as well.
