Okay, so I'm a 15 year old teenage boy, and everytime after I shower and I use my towel to dry my hair, I see a around 10-15 hairs stuck to my towel. My dad always tells me that he see's a lot of hair in the shower, and I'm the only one that uses that shower. I use shampoo about every other day. I use gel, so I don't know if that might be a problem. Another thing, my dad also has a sort of receding hairline and has thin hair, so it might be genetics? I'm just curious, is it normal for a 15 year old boy to have his hair fall out like this? And is it anything serious? If it's anything serious please tell me how to fix it. I appreciate any help.

  1. Hair loss is caused by many reasons such as malnutrition, illness, tension and other health problems.Perming, straightening, hair dyeing and bleaching ,hot combing, using heated rollers and hot wax inevitably damage the hair.Badly damaged hair breaks at the scalp. 2. you may not be getting enough protein, which is essential for healthy hair.   vitamin E is also great for your hair/nails.

  3. well i would try a different type of gel or stop using it for a while.

it could be clogging ur pores on ur head and causing this. it may also be genetics, in which i would see a dermatologist if ur truley conserned

  4. You're too young for that.

It could be one of a few things: vitamin deficiency (take a multi- vitamin and a mineral or fish oil supplement to thicken hair), over processing (if you dye, straighten, or otherwise manipulate you hair), excessive rubbing, brushing, combing (be gentle--you could just be pulling out the hair when you towel dry it).

Hope this helps, exeriment with some changes and see what works.

  5. If you have been under a lot of stress lately that mite be why, when your really stressed an effect can be hair starts to fall out. If you see a few hairs in your towel its ok you lose around 100 hairs a day and that's healthy. Maybe the gel or shampoo your using is irritating your scalp or hair and is causing it to fall out. i hope i helped =)

  6. Im a girl and in the shower my hair started to fall out too..nothing you would notice on me but i saterted getting nervous for some reason but its a normal thing i guess. But i dont think the gell is the problem. In the shower alot of peoples hair falls out..i meen it could be genetics but..in my opinion..it happens to everyone.
