I'm a 16 year old emailing a buisiness..??

Question

I wanted to work for this candy store/ ice cream parlor.. and gift shop http://www.sweetnothingsvt.com/ and I didn't know if an e-mail would be the best first impression?? The web site has an e-mail address, so i figured it could work..

anyways, what should i put in the letter? How should i start it?

You should talk in person if it is a local store.  I don't think you should email them unless you have a specific question.  I rather call the store than email, but talking to the manager in person is preferred.
