I'm a 16 yr old uk student and want to go to uni in the USA. When should I take my SAT's?

I'm about to finish my GCSE's and would like to consider going to university in the US. Any hints please on how to go about it :)

  1. You should take ur SATS while u're doing ur A-Levels. Thats what I did too..


  2. collegeboard.com is the site here in the US that organizes SAT exams and it should have some information for international students. I don't know what university you have in mind, but perhaps depending on the university you may find also find admissions requirements for students from the UK, such as minimum scores for UK tests, too.

  3. If you wanted to go to college in fall of 2009 you should be taking your SAT or ACT in spring/summer of 2008.

    Call or email the admission office of any US college. Most college web site have a section for international students.

  4. UNI in iowa?? haha I live there! you should take it when you're ready and before you apply..which should be when you're 17 or so.
