I'm a 17 year old guy and I shaved my legs and armpits???

Question

Before you go saying g*y g*y g*y. I'm am the exact opposite, its just that my legs and armpits we're so hairy people were making fun of me. So I just shaved them from the knee down on my legs and just a little on my armpits. What will happen now that I shaved? no ccomments from a holes please.

The hair itself doesn't "get thicker", it's just that when you shave, you cut of the tip of the hair folicle, so when the hair grows again, its the bottom of the hair folicle that comes out (which is the thickest part). I suggest trimming your arm pit hair rather than shaving. It's ok, it's not g*y.

It'll grow back. That's about it. Some people will tell you that it will grow back even more hairy but that's not true. It's an myth. It will probably be really uncomfortable as the hair is growing back and you may choose to continue shaving.

g*y? NEVER. Shaving is hygiene.  Everyone who says that guys who shave are g*y are stupid, because you're not.  There is nothing wrong with shaving especially if the hair was out of control.  Plus, armpit hair makes you more prone to having body odor so that was a great idea.  It's okay to leave a little though, you don't have to keep it totally clean if you don't want to because you're a guy.  Nothing will happen now that you shaved, you'll just start to grow some back soon....just don't let it grow back too much so that when you shave next time, it's easier to handle. You'll be fine!

Well now that you shaved them, the hair will get thicker. You'll just have to keep shaving them, like the rest of us girls. :)

Hmm.....Depends on what kind of people they are. If they are big jokes, they'll  probably notice it, and you'll get it from them. When it does grow back, try getting a thinner. or one of those combs that haves razors in it that will thin out the hair so it doesn't look as bad. It will look a lot more controlled and tame. ^^

hey you can also get clippers and just trim your body (manscaping).  start with a 4 gaurd and them 3, 2, 1 until you get the length you like.  manscaping also makes areas look bigger than they are.

dont be shy about being hairy, i know pple that are very hairy including females.

i will suggest u just trim it next time, just carefully use 1 of those little scissors they use in hair salons n cut them down. it doesnt take long and its not hard either but it is worth it

Just keep shaving as you are. It'll be perfectly fine. A lot of guys shave their legs and armpits completely. It's hot! Hair is gross. Lol. Most guys shave their legs for sports like football. And swimmers and completely shaven. It's normal. =]]

i know many guys who do this all the time and then some guys you just shave their privates and some who just shave their arm pits!

so men look better shaved! more toned...thinner etc..
