  1. you turned 30 very fast!  go to a boxing gym, and start training there

  2. your not too old if it is just to learn as a hobby. its a great sport and a great way to get into shape? only thing to do is to go to a boxing gym

  3. At 30 you're not as old as you think.  You might have a shot depending on your dedication and exactly what you intend to do in boxing.

Go to a gym and learn the basics.   Block out all the negative talk about your age.   Do a LOT of walking and running and take good care of your feet and knees.

Figure your ideal weight for your height.   Don't be obsessed with killing yourself to get to a lower weight, thinking it will give you an advantage in height.     Train as hard as you can for at least 3 months before considereing a weight class or fighting or even sparring.  You will know when you feel your best.  There's your weight class.

Find a good trainer and some sparring partners who are not looking to pad their records or reputations at the expense of a novice.

    There's a good start.

    Good Luck

  4. boxing gym

  5. R u going to become pro?
