  1. Well... I'm not sure, actually. You are not eligible for federal, or state aid, but if you demonstrate financial need then you should be eligible for college aid. I would say... contact the colleges you want to apply to, and ask what you would need to fill out. Americans fill out the FAFSA to demonstrate financial need and be eligible for aid. I assume that foreign students would have a similar form... otherwise, you're limited to only merit-based scholarships, which are significantly more rare and difficult to get than primarily need-based ones.

  2. Firstly, law in the United States is a graduate program, meaning that you firstly need a bachelors degree or equivilent to even be eligble to attend.

To answer your actual question, as an international student you are ot eligble for any Federal or State financial aid and for a first degree, you would not find many, if any merit-based scholarships nor college grants to fund your education at this level.

If you have a bachelors degree and wish to study law in the United States as a graduate then many law schools offer financial aid to international students and many organzations are there for full or partial scholarships.

The majorit of international students studying for a degree in the United States are self-funded, relying on support from their parents, other family members and of course their own savings.

Undergraduate studies costs between $18,000 and $45,000 (including tuition and living expenses) per year.

Law school costs, on average $35,000 per year for tuition alone.

  3. claim you are a Pakistani and you will get free aid
