I'm from Trinidad and play mas every year with the best bands, so I know the real thing........................you think i'll enjoy cropover. Let me know if you are Bajan or alien.

Personally for me as a Barbadian crop over SUCKS! its the same thing  every year.

For you as a carnival person who enjoys it and never attended crop over, it would be a blast!

Take it from me, l was there last week for their "cropover", and it was the most sh it l see/experience for ah LONG TIME! Barbados have to say thank God for people like Rupee and Allison Hinds yes! l spend hours in the street trying to understand what the ar$e they singing, when l do understand the song the chorus was: young ting, young ting, young ting lay lay lie lie lo! PLEASE!! And then the Tuesday morning they have ah call in programme on Tv...guess what the main topic was?!! They find that they pay MACHEL MONTANO too much money to perform, oh how he get more money than the locals!!! Hear what was the issue REALLY: Machel and he band come on early in the fete and yuh know is mash up, in fact the Bajans start to behave like when Michael Jackson in he days take the stage, so yuh know what ah talking bout. Well don't talk about when Patrice start to sing, it was sheer pandemonium in the stadium....Machel and he band perform and they done, yuh know what, the majority ah the darn crowd leave time they done, so the "locals" vex. Who vex loss yes!

So sweetie, if yuh go have ah good time but if l was you l'd donate that money to Charity and feel good about mehself yes!!

Of course you will enjoy it.  Lots of Trins come here every year to party, even this year.  Some people are even saying that they had the first opportunity to buy the costumes as oppose to the Bajans. If you like soca you should be able to enjoy it anywhere whether it is in T&T, Barbados, St. Vincent or St. Lucia to name a few.
