I really hope you can love god. you might not think he exists but think of it, where will you go when you die? Of course there can be a place like heaven with jesus. The world is too remarkable that everything can't go poof. There is night and day, babies born in a stomach, planets revolving, and miracles happening.

There are some people who confess miracles occuring.

  1. It's not saying it's a mistake, it's saying we became better in order to survive. You have not understood the concept of evolution. Evolution isn't random, it's specific. The creatures that can survive go on, and those that can't die out. And thus the favourable genes of the survivors are passed on. It's called Natural Selection, which leads to evolution. You have to admit it makes more sense than us(humans, other animals, and plants) being here just because something called "God" said we should.

Death, babies(who are not born in a stomach, they're conceived in wombs), and planets are not miracles, they're nature. Nature, not "God". And if indeed your "God" can cause miracles, why doesn't he/she/it heal amputees?

EDIT: Oh, sorry, you mean babies actually born in stomachs. I thought it was just your ignorance, since you have poor grammar and believe that there's a "God".

  2. u r so true that is pretty much exactly what im thinking

  3. Miracle=Magical. If Reality scares you, you need to go to church.

  4. Microevolution, or adaptive change within a species, is accepted by both Creationists and evolutionists.

Macroevolution, or change from one species to another, is not well documented.

Creation of organic life is similarly difficult to document.

The point of Biblical Creationism is that if species evolve to different species, that might contradict some literal interpretations of the Bible.

The Marxist position is that Matter has always been, and that it inevitably leads to intelligent species, such as man.

The logical and scientific problems with marxist thinking include:  matter has been shown to decay, the oscillating theory of "big bang, big crunch, big bang..." is less likely than simple dissolution by matter decay and spreading out, and that nothing can arise of nothing.

The idea of God as an eternal Being, and Creator, is compatible with "big bang" and evolutionary speciation:  intelligent design with some freedom to make choices, at lower levels, with God's Justice and Mercy remaining in final control.

All of this is focused upon the outer material process.  The kingdom of God is approached through the Childlike championing of joy, love, kindness, truthfulness, purity, and the Childlike healing of envy, fear, doubt, etc.  This is the task of the parents, who represent God, and of the maturing child, who is to retain her inner sense (innocence), even as Jesus showed the Way.

The kingdom of Heaven can be experienced on a daily and nightly basis, the latter through dreams which parallel what is a post-passing awareness and desire to learn more Truth in Love.  C. S. Lewis' "The Great Divorce," Martha Beck's "Expecting Adam," "Eyes of the Tailless Animals," Soon Ok Lee, "Marx and Satan," Reverend Richard Wurmbrand, and Kim Meeder's "Hope Rising" are good witnesses of this general process of discerning beyond mere "gross materialism."

  5. You know that God is the trinity and that is a holy mystery. If you dont know what the trinity is it is the father, son, and holy spirit. So we know their is a god but but he left some mystery about his ways so we would think about him and the way he works. So dont worry about if we came from a monkey or not. God knew what he was doing. Something else to consider is that god  is behind the evolotion prosses which ened in us as a result. stay strond in christ.

  6. if you wonder "how can there not be a god, who created all of this?" shouldn't you wonder " how can there be a god, who created him"

  7. I would guess you to be young.....that's OK because you'll probably ask yourself these questions and change your answers a million times as you move through your life.  Yes, evolution is a fact....but that is only one aspect of what it means to be alive.

Being Christian and being scientific minded are not incompatible.  God is bigger than our religious and scientific institutions.

Look for a Nova DVD called "String Theory"

Don't ever be afraid to Seek........Enjoy the Journey!

  8. First if one recognizes there are two types of evolution i.e. micro-evolution where species adapt genetically to an environment.  And macro-evolution where one species evolves into another completely different one.  Where some vine swinging creature is the common ancestor of the gorilla, chimpanzee, and human being.  That kind of evolution has no scientific proof at all.

I believe God is the one to create all the different types of species that exist here on this earth.    Take care.

  9. be not confused of the knowledge of this world, for God said heaven & earth will pass away, but my word will endure... A wise child of God searcheth the word of God... Science is one of satan's tools to confuse you. Be stedfast, unmovable, unshaken for your faith in God will save you in the time of your death. 10. Believing in evolution does not negate anything except rigid superstition. No theologan believes the literal interpretation. Real Christians have to be smart, as well as loyal.

  11. Oh sorry but that is wrong...you do not pass go and do not collect $200.

Evolution does NOT say it is mistake in anyway...it doesn't even attempt or pretend to attempt to judge our existence one way or another and anyone who says different is either 100% ignorant of what Evolution actually is or is lying.

I know this is probably a troll question, but on the off chance  this is serious..I tell you.  Look around at everything...the universe, stars, planets, moons, life, light, etc.  With all we learn we see that there are infinite ties between every single aspect of reality in the most complex and simple ways.......and yet you find it so hard to believe that God may have actually designed and implemented a system to bring different life about of its own accord.  You ascribe God omnipotence yet think God incapable and too ignorant to design and start such a wonderful system to make sure life will always adapt to survive.

"Evolutionists", as the ignorant call those who accept Evolution, are the ones being humble and in awe of God....not the so called "faithful"

Uncle Remus 54 > There is no such thing as micro vs macro Evolution.  That is a BS concept invented by the faith challanged "faithful" in order to keep fighting truth.  There is only Evolution in short term and Evolution in long term...they are both same exact thing....just a question of how much time has passed

  12. Even if there is a higher power or creator, it doesn't necessarily have to be Jesus or the Christian god.  And with all the gods out there, probability says its not.

  13. Picture a triangle.   It is sitting flat on a surface with the point at the top.   This is you and I, mankind, reaching up to God.

Our feelings, our mind, and our will have been created in God's image, and we are trying to reach The Holy One.

Picture another triangle.   It is reaching down to us.   The flat side is up and the point is down.    That is God, who loves us, is THE INTELLECT behind everything, and His Will is that He wants us to know Him.

Jesus said "God is a spirit, and they that worship him must worship Him in spirit and in truth"...Yet he also said "For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life" John 3.16

Jesus was either a liar, or crazy and mis-guided, or he was giving us the real low-down, right on, and targeted the issue right out.   John 1.29 John the Baptizer said "Look ! This is the Lamb of God that taketh (is taking away) the sin of the world."

The biggest miracle of all is that a person can know God.

    Jesus made that possible.

God made day and night, sun moon and stars and all the world with everything in the cosmos to boot.     In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth Genesis 1.1     Then in the book of John, it says "In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the Word was God.  John 1.verse 1.

Jesus said, I am the living bread (the Matzoth) come down from Heaven.  John 7.35  the one who comes to me shall never hunger, and the one who believes on me shall never thirst."

Heaven is a place Jesus talked about.   He said he was going to the Father, and that he would come again and take us to Himself to be with him there.   John 14. 1 - 9

    Babies born are a miracle.

All nature is a living tapestry of God's creative wonder and power and work.

Yet miracle of miracles, God is interested in me.  I am me.

The body I have is the software that God has provided.  The hardware is my SOUL, and that has been saved by His grace, and someday I will receive NEW SOFTWARE prepared for me forever to live in His Home.

Add to that this God answers my prayers.  John 14.14

In all that His Character represents, I can ask in His name for Him to work in me to do His Will.   I have a right as His Child to come to the Throne of God and have instant access to him.  I don't need an appointment.   John 15.7  If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you wish and it shall be done to you.

  14. ....IF your a "Christian" and by your question your not {I'm a Christian and I know evolution is facts}.....Christianity does not teach evolution....evolution removes "God" ....you better rethink your religion.................

  15. Is there a question in your question?  I can't find it.

If you die, you die and you don't know the difference.

so, love life while you got it!  be good to yourself, others, and this happy accident we all live on -- called Earth.

  16. There is an element of casuality in evolution (mutation, genetic drift) but selection makes no 'mistakes'.

"Of course there can be a place like heaven with jesus"

I guess other people might say "of course there's a sacred hunting ground with Wakan Tanka"

    "The world is too remarkable..."

And yet in a couple billion years that's what's gonna happen. Your dried bones and mine, the Grand Canyon and the Mona Lisa, everything will go bye-bye.

On the other hand, who says aliens aren't watching us from afar and say, "I wonder how they can scrape a living on that wretched mudball. Tornadoes, earthquakes, pestilences and UV radiation... I wouldn't swap if they made me Emperor of the Universe. Give me a red dwarf to revolve around, oceans of ammonia and a triple moon to look at, and I'm your Swqtx"?

"There's babies born in a stomach"

    This I gotta see.

What's with the people who capitalize Christian, but not God or Jesus?

  17. There is only one Christian existed...it is Jesus Himself..and he did not know it...but his followers knows everything....some kind of mess is in here...

  18. Argument fro incredulity is a fallacy, not a reason to believe anything.

  19. I can neither confirm nor deny the presence of an omnipotent being, or whether such a being was responsible for the creation of what is, but think of it this way;

If everything here happened by chance, we are only able to comment about it because it happened. If it did not happen, we wouldn't exist.

A similar thing applies when people notice things that are out of the ordinary than seeing the entire picture. For example, if it always rained once per week, most people would wonder why it rains all the time, but in reality, it only rains 1/7th of the time.

  20. Wow.... ummm... no offense Robert, but I could really see you as one of the people who stated that Tesla was an evil man who had sold his soul to the devil and was practicing sorcery due to the fact that you perceive science as a tool of the devil which is in existence in order to confuse people and lead them into darkness.  Of course, this would go without the knowledge that Tesla was secretly trying to work for a world where the energy which supplies your house was free with no cost or strings attached to all the nations of the world.  A man with a nobler or altruistic sense of self I have never met in all my days.

Miracles and magic are merely caused by the lack of perception and full understanding of the nature of the universe working as it does naturally.  Sorry to burst your bubble.

And Robert, say hello to Satan on your nice little computer for me, which is nothing but a tool which was created through the very processes of science you condemn...  For that matter, say hello to him when you turn on your lights, use your stove, drive your car, or anything you do in the matter of living which interacts with technology, forgetting the fact that said sciences of technology also serves to make your life more convenient due to the hard work, sweat, blood, and tears of those who have dedicated their lives to the pursuit of higher intelligence by questioning the nature of the universe as it was told to them by their communities as bed-time stories...

  21. Charles Darwin (who wrote "The Origin of Species") and many other scientists have been Christians or otherwise religiously-inclined.  There's nothing in the theory of evolution that says you can't believe in divinity and miracles.

On the other hand, evolution is decidedly not saying that we're here by mistake.  Part of the schema of evolution is the idea of natural selection, which means that, due to the environment of the universe, the self-organizing and self-replicating life force comes to exist in the form best adapted to circumstances.  This is quite the opposite of us being here due to error.

Notably, evolution does not make claims about what this self-organizing principle fundamentally is, or where it came from.  This leaves plenty of room to believe in both God and evolution.  Evolutionary science simply recognizes that Life IS, and explains how it works in the natural world.

  22. I too am a christian but i do not think that the theory of evolution is a fact. and as a fellow christian i say, do not be swayed by these people who talk about science because they do not know the way. Heck! they do not even know how they were created as humans in this world. but we as christians have known that God has created everything. and that my friend in christ is a fact all on its own.

  23. I accept that God works through nature.  Evolution is a process of nature that God works through.  In the theory, evolution is guided by random genetic mutations.  I think God chooses which mutations occur and when.

I assume that Genesis tells a moral story and probably should not be taken literally.
