Sometimes I come out of the shower and after a couple seconds I look at my hair and im like. OMG. My hair looks cool for once. But then minutes later, its just plain straight boring piece of c**p.

I have medium hair length for a guy. And I really need tips to make it messy and cool?

  1. Hairspray, hair gel, mousse! :D

  2. use gel and freeze and take care of the hair. its only cool bescause it wet but when it dries up it goes back to normal.

  3. cut your hair, then put gel in your hands and mess it up...

  4. get a perm

  5. When I had my salon in Ohio, I gave many men body perms. It was the only way to get some bend in the hair, so that the mousse or hair gels  would hold the style in. A perm also makes your hair feel as though you have thicker hair, due to the chemical process that happens during perming. A perm is the only way to go, so you'll have a wash 'n wear style. If you decide to get a perm, get just the very ends trimmed every six to eight weeks, so as to eliminate the dryness.

  6. Buy something at a hair salon...in the mall?....not at a barber shop - it is called "hair paste" and you use a tiny bit to stiffen your hair and make it look a bit messy. It holds really well, has no scent, and your hair feels natural not like hair spray. Believe me, all those male models have "product" in their hair!! Mousse, paste, spray, and probaby hair color!  Anyway, straight clean hair is nice too! Ask at the hair salon if they can add some layering to give it some movement rather than just hanging there - they can do amazing things!

  7. It all depends on how much effort you're willing to put into it.  A good tousled effect comes from putting mousse in wet hair and crunching the hair as you dry it with a hair dryer.  As the hair gets dryer, hold the clump of hot scrunched hair in your hand till it cools.  (This allows the hair to set and depending on how good you get at doing this you can get some nice waves.)  Once you have the desired effect, set this with a bit of hair spray and enjoy.

A very loose perm might make it easier to make the hair messy, damaging it and giving it some texture.  (But I mean loose, no tight perms.)

  8. get some product and shake your hair and mess it up a bit, have fun with it. Or you could spike it. that might look cool

  9. dont get a perm! try styling products or a new cut with choppy layers
