I'm a Muslim. I'll be visiting Canada soon. In CA, are the Whopper sandwiches in Burger King restaurants pork?

I'll be visiting Canada for a month. I'll be literally living there. And I don't eat pork. So, it'll be a challenging month for me. I need to know if the Whopper sandwich in Burger King is pork in Canada.

And also what is and what isn't pork in Burger King and Wendy's restaurants? Thanks.

Burgers are always beef. But lots of them have bacon. Yumm! So be sure to check and say no bacon. (you sure you won't try it?) I don't know why you can eat cow and not pig. Didn't Jesus say that nothing defiles us anymore and that all food is now clean? Someone told me Muslims believe in Jesus.

I didn't know Burger King OR Wendy's served any pork whatsoever.

A BURGER is cow, is...beef.

Assalamu Alaikum! I don't eat pork either I don't eat beef but I do know that the Whopper's are safe. Pretty much everything on their menu is pork free, their breakfast menu may have some pork in it.

Wendy's is pretty much safe too, I mean they have bacon on some of their sandwiches but you can tell them to make it without the bacon. Hope this helped.

i'm not sure how they prepare it because burger king meat does look like mystery meat! but just make sure you ask no matter where you are!

Hamburgers come from the cow. They're beef. Just don't get anything with bacon as some burgers come with that as an extra type of meat per say.

I don't know of any fast food restaurant that serves Pork now that i think about it.... it is Beef, Chicken or Fish....

Most fast food places in the US don't serve pork. It's mostly beef. I think Canada is the same.

If you're curious with fast food you can just go in and ask. The only problem you may have is that the same grill is often used for everything, so your grilled beef may have touched grilled pork if the place serves it. I assume that's a problem, though I don't know for sure. They don't use animal byproducts in the fryers anymore, though, so that will be ok.

If you're going to a nicer restaurant, you would want to call ahead to check on it. Make sure their practices meet your needs before you go in.
