I don't think it makes a huge difference.  The team is what matters.  But if I had to choose, I like the BoSox with the red B on blue.  Red/blue is a good mix in my opinion.

The Yankees logo is probably one of the top 3 sports team logos of all time worldwide. (Along with Manchester United and Real Madrid.)
