I got my British citizenship through my father. He is a British citizen, moved to Bangladesh and got me. I'm now 17 years. Though being a British citizen myself, I've never been to UK before. Do I need to go to UK before my 18th birthday? Is there any law stating that my citizenship will be canceled if I don't visit UK before I'm 18?

  1. Where do you live right now?

  2. No, I do not know of such a policy and it would seem a bit ridiculous given that you were granted citizenship as a foreign resident
