    British nationals who can show a valid passport from the UK do not require a visa to come to Canada for a holiday.

    Likewise, United Kingdom is a member of the American Visa Waiver Program and so to go into the USA, as a UK national you are exempt from needing a visa.

    However, keep in mind that the person who has the final say on whether you get into USA or not is the US Border Agency customs official that processes your request at the US port of entry. They have the authority to turn you away or to limit how long you are allowed to stay in the US.
