As mentioned in the question, I am a US Citizen. I wish to sponsor Green Card for my father, who is on a visitor visa (vaild upto Jan `2009). I have heard that from my friends that for some of them the entire process completed within 3 months (who applied from CA). a) Does the length of the process differ from state to state??

Thanks
