but what is the best way to keep from getting blisters and ripping your nail of? I put my pad on the tights then shoes.

There isn't any way to prevent those thing dancing on pointe.  You can use preventive taping and pads in the bottom of the toe box.  But it will still happen.

You can put on toe tape around your toes, and you can also put cotton balls in by your toes too.

Try not to sink into your shoes so much, if possible.

i put these toe gell things on my toes. there like a pad exept for your toes. i put them on first, then put my pad on my feet under my tights.

there are these latex sponges that you buy at like london drugs and those type of stores. you can cut them into the right shape and then use toe tape to tape them where you want them. the truth is that the stuff not made for dancing en pointe usually works better than the stuff made for it. ouch pouches also work well but make your feet feel gross.
