I'm a begginer golfer and found 2 club sets, which are better?

If there are better ones out there I would like to know, but I don't want to spend over $150

the steel shafts are better, but i would search on ebay for something better

There's really no difference except the shaft. These are both you know, sort of duffer clubs (no offense). They'd both do fine. The only question is whether you want graphite or steel shafts.

Graphite flex more and create more head speed for longer shots - I regularly hit my graphite shafts 10-20 yards farther.

Steel is not as whippy, so you won't hit them as far, but if you're bad, that's not necessarily a bad thing. Do you want to be 50 yards into the neighboring fairway, or 65?

I prefer steel, I think they're more durable and easier to control, if a little bit heavier. In this case they'll also save you $10.

Pick which ones you think look cooler. There's going to be almost no difference in their performance. And remember to have a good time - it can be frustrating out there!

honestly, those are pieces of c**p.. if you go on ebay you could probably find a good set, probably used, of Cleveland or Callaway irons for around your price limit. its better to learn with decent clubs.

You can definitely do better, but this may not be a bad start.  You will still need to pay for lessons, balls, tee times, driving range...keeping the costs low to start is fine.  if you bought your irons separate from your woods wedges etc.  you would pay hundreds even on used equipment.  You can upgrade when you have your swing sorted out if you are unhappy with either of these sets in the future.
