she apparently jumped into the pond because we found her in a little wet bunch on the floor

we quickly dried her out with a hairblower and towel, and seperated her.

her feet were bleeding we stopped that.

now she is sitting in her cage. she chirps, she flies if she is let out

but she won't eat, and her droppings are less + sort of yellowish instead of white. i think its the urate that's yellow, not the urine. i've heard of all manner of exotic diseases this could be a problem of. but she had diarreah first, probly because of swallowing too much watter.

she nibbles on the millet i have once in a while, but only has eating like 4 seeds. and she nibbles at the water container thing but seems to spit it out or hiss.

i'm confused anyone got any ideas

  1. I would definitely take her to an avian vet.  She's been soaked through and unable to self-regulate her temperature, she's not eating well and her droppings have changed.  Yellow or lime green urates *could* suggest that an infection has started to affect her liver.  An avian vet should be able to help determine the problem and provide you with an *appropriate* antibiotic or anti-microbial.  Over-the-counter medications are seldom helpful and are frequently harmful.

  2. Yea,too much clorene,or some thing else got to her.

  3. I would also suggest talking her to an avian vet.  That's probably the best thing you can do.  When we bred cockatiels, their p**p did the same thing, so she might also be trying to pass an egg, but that could just be ours.  But if she hasn't eaten by the end of the day, take her to an Avian vet first thing tomorrow.  If you know where to get baby bird formula, you could try giving her some of that just so she has something in her stomach.  And if you do that, make sure you just use warm tap water.  DO NOT WARM IT UP IN THE MICROWAVE IT'LL BURN HER CROP!  Or oat meal.  It's similar to baby bird formula.  They can eat lots of things.  Try vegetables, maybe, until you can get her to a vet.
