How would you know if ANY man likes you? If you've had other boyfriends, then you know.

I don't think his national background has a lot to do with liking someone. However, his culture might guide how he treats a woman. In Malaysia, perhaps, having s*x early in a relationship could, possibly, relegate you to the status of a prostitute.

You might consider doing some research on the sociological background of the Malaysian people.
