I'm a catholic girl although not a 'practicing' catholic, would I HAVE to convert?

I'm 18 and will soon be living in the KSA. I have met a couple of nice Saudi chaps (i.e. students through my Dads work, he is a Doctor and will be working from a hospital in the KSA eventually). If I fell in love with a Saudi guy would I have to convert to Islam?

And please don't rant on about how women are treated and expected to act etc. in Saudi Arabia. I am well up on the customs and will respect them when I live there. This is just a question about the religion.

Well a Muslim mand can marry the people of the book(christians and jewish).so it is obviously u do not need to convert.but again it is questionable of christians of those days and christians of today.those day(during the prophet's time) christians believe in one God and they believd in Allah.but in today's christianity they believed in trinity and believd Jesus is God and this is totally act of kuffr and no muslim are allowed to marry a kafir.so it is somthing scholors should speak about.even though the quran said muslim man can marry peole of the book yet what kind of people should be married?in quran it is clearly stated that no muslim is lawful to kafir and when people dont believe in Allah it si consider an act of kufr.

anyway..it is better for u to learn about islam and living in KSA is a huge thing for a non muslim like u.they truly practise islam and they do carry out the punishments mentioned in quran.so becareful what what ur doing as u might no ready for this whole thing.just search for the truth and u will find in sha Allah..perhaps this might be ur journey for the truth..even if u marry him..u can only be with him in thiw world..in hereafter u cannot be with him..
