I'm a childcare providers during the weekdays but would also like to open my weekends for a doggy/pet daycare?

Is this possible?? How do i start this process?? I am a little lost, do i need to get a permit, license or any other things i might need. Do i talk with the county? Do i need to take classes?? Will it be impossible to have a doggy daycare since i have a children day care on the weekdays???? I live in San Diego, California, btw.

  1. All I can say is make sure the dog's you take in have all their vaccinations up to date and have been checked for parasites that can be transferred to children. You wouldn't believe how many owners don't know their dogs have tapeworms when they're crawling right out of them! Not good for children! I would totally and completely urge you to not take any dogs without their bordetella vaccinations (kennel cough) it will spread like wild fire. We will not accept any dog without it and have never experienced an outbreak. Just do your research on the dogs it's not that easy if you do it right and professionally. Good luck and have fun with it!

  2. i I'm british but it is quite simple make some flyer's hand them out post the put posters up i don't no about permits or needing a license but at the weekend i should think weekends will be good as people like to go out but don't really want to leave their dog home alone or you can look after snakes/reps and other things rabbit and rodents cause they don't need much attention even you could take care of them well people are on vaccation vacation hope this helped
