I'm a employee for UK Co, can I set up my own Co aswell? I want to do some personal work & offset expenses

I would like to do some work for myself as well as have a regular job & income. And I would like to be able to offset my business' revenue against business expenses e.g. PC equipment, travel etc to minimise the amount I pay in tax for my own business.

There is nothing to stop you doing this, but check with your employer as there might be something in your employment contract.
