I'm a great singer, and want to get noticed! But Don't Know How:S????

Question

I Live in a smaller town in Canada and people are always telling me I have a great voice. I believe that I do to and it is one of my life long goals to become a professional singer. Anyone have tips for a 13 year old to get noticed by someone who can change everything for me? Also I don't need to here the negatives of people saying it's never going to happen because I won't believe it or listen to it.

Upload either your own songs or cover songs to a myspace band page.

You can try posting some videos on youtube and try to advertise them. People have become famous off of youtube and a few (Esmee Denters etc.) has a record deal because of it. You can also try to join chorus at your school and try to sing solos. Maybe audition for American Idol? :D Good luck!
