i'm also a big 2k sports fan. so far it sounds good on paper. hopefully the just added things to the association(better scouting, more/better cpu trade offers...) and fixed a few glitches. i like the new additions so far, but i'm going to rent it before i buy it.

yea the graphics get better every year and they added new players like beasley, rose, bayless, and the rest of college and foriegn players and the new oakland city team will most likely make their debt in it. i am waiting untill 2k9 comes out just for that because it will be better than 2k8 and they also added Advanced Shot Stick, Adaptive A.I., NBA 2K online features, 2K share, 2K-HD, All-new broadcast team, Better replays and cutscenes

2k8 was basically a really solid game and is really complete.  2k9 will add some new features, some which I am skeptical about like the advanced shooting stick.   Hopefully it will stay similar with simply upgraded features and a couple of fun addons.

The one thing I hope they fix is the top replays.  It is very generic and the top replays are always the same pass and dunk thing every time.  I also hope they are more realistic with the ratings of certain teams.  A lot of teams in the 2k8 series were over or underrated.  Although I guess that is very hard to predict as nobody knows how well a team will perform.  Lol at Chicago bulls.

YAAA MOST DEF...THEY WONT dissapoint us..i believe they r gonna have a training camp mode...to do drills ...like they do on madden...and also they are making changes to the shot stick..something about changing your shot against defenders in mid air
