... participate in public service activities? Do you need to join or something before you can help during public events or whatever. Please tell me your experiences with them. Thanks

  1. Try contacting the American Relay League (ARRL) National membership Organization of Amateur Radio orperators, I believe it is the oldest (since 1912). They would be ble to answers all your questions for your call letters, area, and air waves....rules and regulations.....thank you
