I'm cofused coz there is a lot of good brands out there. My other concern is my hands, some say it's a lady's hands coz it's light and thin. Typical small-boned. Thanks in advance!

  1. My 1st & only hangun is a S/W 38 Special & it's perfect for me. Simple & easy to both fire & clean. Good for close up accuracy.

  2. If it is your first gun try a .25,.38 or 9mm. You do not want to go larger then that.

My first gun was a Hi point 9mm Compact. It ran me $120 and works like a charm.

  3. 8-iron,,,,maybe 9mm

  4. Wow does Titleist make a handgun , does it come with " Drop and Stop " technology and great short game control , I will take a dozen !!!!

  5. Smith & Wesson 38special revolver easy to operate safer for a beginner than a semi auto and very acurate.

  6. anything that will fit in your golf bag . . .  but, if you'd quit sandbagging you probably wouldn't need a GUN!

  7. My advice - buy a rifle or shotgun for hunting, but don't keep a handgun at home.

Every year in the U.S. a huge no. of people, especially children, die from handguns kept at home for "protection".  These deaths are rare in Europe or Canada - why? We have sensible attitudes towards firearms.

The perception you need a gun for "protection" is a fallacy, i.e. the risk you will be killed by your own gun at home is far greater than the risk of being shot by an intruder.

  8. find a good place and take lessions, they will be able to help you find the rigth gun for you.

  9. First...Take Lessons!!. Very important. Safety First.

I would recommend a Glock 9mm. Easy to shoot and take care of.  Very simple operation. They have differnt sizes to assist in your needs.

    Good luck!

  10. Are you shooting at golf balls?

  11. i don't know what handguns are doing in the golf section.

you can't go wrong with a Glock 26. this is a small 9mm.

you can also buy a conversion kit. all you have to do is change the slide

and it becomes a 22 cal.

  12. find a shooting range near u and ask to rent/ test a glock 17(9mm) or a 22/23(.40) for one its the most reliable gun ever made and bullets are cheap(40 not to bad 9mm in texas i got a box of 100 for 14$ and 50 hollow points for16$) and miantanece is minimal u could shoot 1000 rounds today 1000 rounds tommorow a 1000 rounds next week dont clean it then put away for a year pull it out load it. IT WILL FIRE!

  13. Theres an old Beverly Hillbilly episode that has Jed and Jethro going out with a couple of dignitaries to shoot some golfs.i think you should watch that show to get some idea what shooting golf is...

  14. You must also be a newbie to Yahoo! Answers, because you posted a handgun (or as you said, "hangun") question in the golf section.
