How old is your son?   If you're an RN, you could apply to work at his school, so you'd have the same hours as him.  :)

If he's a bit too young for that, you could work PRN weekends or evenings so that you could be at home with him during the day.

Sometimes you can find consulting jobs from home, or some hospitals will hire administrative-type jobs that you can do from home.

I don't know of specific companies, but a few career ideas come to mind for work-at-home jobs.

Health insurance companies use nurses to review claims for appropriate care.

There are call-a-nurse jobs where you talk to people answering their questions. Again, insurance companies such as United Health Care have these, as do employee assistance programs (EAPs).
