I keep hearing people say we're overly feminine. Why is this? No one has ever considered me to be feminine in any way. Am I missing something?

  1. 'Feminine' does not mean 'girly'. You can be feminine and be very manly.

Feminine qualities are flowing, emotional... masculine qualities are direct and forceful. I know many manly but feminine pisces men.

And there is no such thing as overly feminine! It is an essence, a quality. Don't listen to stupid stuff like that... people just have bad experiences with people and generalise to feel better about themselves (e.g. someone might say, "I dated a pisces man and he dumped me... he was way too emotional for me anyway, therefore pisces men are 'overly feminine'").

  2. Earth and water signs are considered 'feminine' in nature, while sun and air signs tend to be classified as 'masculine.'

This simply means that your sign may be:

    receptive as opposed to active

    emotional

    sensitive

    more nocturnal

    deep

    more focused on the material

It's a type of energy that has nothing to do with gender really. More like yin and yang or light and dark.

I'm a woman of a sun sign which means I'm described as more masculine. But that doesn't mean I'm less female, it just means I'm more likely to have certain personality traits.

So don't worry, you're still a manly man. You just have traits associated with the 'yin' or 'feminine' of the side of the zodiac.
