Question:

I'm a pretty skinny guy. I'm 21, about 5'6, and weight about 135. What's healthy and will help gain weight?

I hit the gym not too often but will start going very frequently while trying to gain weight at the same time. I don't want to just eat anything I see; I want to stay healthy through it all but want to gain some pounds to fill out.

  1. Eat healthy small meals 6 times a day with fruit snacks in between, if you want to build muscle you need to have a good protein shake. Consume 1 gram of protein for every pound of body weight daily.  Muscle is going to fill in your body, make you look lean and strong and it weighs more than fat so your weight will go up.
