I'm a radio major and would like a different "on air" last name - what goes well with "Aleka"? (read details)?

Aleka is pronounced "Ah-leh-kah".

My real last name is thirteen letters long, it's "Stefanopoulos", and I just don't think it sounds that good together.

Aleka is my middle name, but I go by it in day to day life...however, my real first name is Sofia so I was thinking about "Aleka Sofia".

Let me know what you think and about any suggestions you may have, please and thank you!

  1. Aleka Breana   (pronouced like brey-on-a) but i like your idea too.

  2. that sounds good, i go by nathan lee as a stage name my full name just wouldnt work for me

  3. I use my real name on-air, which sometimes causes confusion as it's the same as a well known environmental writer who is often on NPR. But I don't care. We don't sound alike.

I like the sound of what you put together. It does flow. I used to use different names on-air but twenty years ago decided it was too much work to be one person to family and friends and another in public. So I just reverted to my real name.

  4. Aleka "Rain"

    Aleka "Michaeles"

    Aleka "Child"

    Aleka "Steel"

    "Sofia Aleka"

    Aleka "Stephn"

    Aleka "Jones"
