  1. Are you a resident or a citizen?

    Spain is part of the EU. Switzerland is not

    all you will need is a passport. because Switzerland is not part of the Schengen border agreement. no visa


  2. I notice you said "resident" not "citizen" so you need to check your country of origin's regulations on entering Switzerland.  EU citizens in general can get in with a valid passport and ID, so if you are a Spanish citizen, you do not need to make arrangements prior to arriving at the border.
