Based on my current activity level I need to take in about 2700 calories to maintain my weight, (5'3 110 pounds) 15 years old. Like every food has sodium in it, in that case can I flush sodium out with more water and up my sodium intake?

  1. Water won't flush sodium. Eat lots of food with potassium as potassium is considering the 'anti-dote' for sodium. Food with potassium include bananas and potatoes. I would try to decrease my sodium slightly and increase the intake of potassium; also get a multi-vitamin if you don't take one already.

  2. the more active you are the more water and sodium you will have take you can take salt pill to replenish your electrolytes. It helps will muscle cramping
