First of all, let me say that I am sorry for the situation you're in. I have been there and it's really frustrating as well as frightening. You can pull through this and you will probably with a better job and income but don't get so desperate that anything looks good to you. Take a deep breath. Get to the unemployment office immediately to register. Consider slashing your budget of things you don't really NEED (needs include food, shelter, insurance, etc). Sell things around the house that you don't need. Do not go into debt by using money you don't have. Polish up your resume and network with others. Ask for jobs. Nothing should be beneath you when you don't have anything. You'll be fine. Steer away from tying up your time and talents with online surveys and other "too good to be true" opportunities. You can set up and run your own business but make it legitimate. You'll make more money working for yourself than for someone else so consider cleaning houses, yard work, baking, or whatever skills and interests you have. Get a business license and write off your expenses. There are things you can to use your time and talents wisely. Think positive!!! Your family is depending on your strength.
